CDL Update Kit

Installation

You should have received :

Remove the 6 bolts marked :

Remove the ring of bolts that hold the front casing on,

Knock with a mallet to break the sealant,

 

Remove housing,

 

Should look like this,

 

Press in bearing and fit circlip,

Press in the seal,

 

Fit locking collar,

Fit spacer in between the bearing and locking ring, outer chamfer towards the bearing.

Knock bearing out of old casing and press into new casing

Press in shaft

 

Fit flange, felt washer, washer and nut,

Tight !

Apply sealant

Fit new housing,

And bolt on,

Put in diff lock, adjust switch in until you ha v e   c o n t i n u i t y  t h e n  c h e c k  y o u  l o o s e  c o n t i n u i t y  w h e n  o u t  o f  d i f f l o c k,

t h e n  c h e c k y o u  c a n  g o  b a c k  i n t o  d i f f l o c k ,  n o t e: i f  t h e  sw i t c h  i s  i n too  f a r  t h e  s w i t c h  w i l l  s t o p  t h e  f o r k  e n g a g i n g  d i f f l o c k ,

Fit side cover,

Check this grub screw is tight, they often come undone,

Refit Top Housing
